Lake Michigan Fishing License: Wisconsin? Illinois? Either?
Whether you require a fishing license from Wisconsin or Illinois depends on which part of Lake Michigan you are fishing. If you extended the line between the two states out from Kenosha County and Lake County, you’d have the applicable boundary. Our Milwaukee and Racine-based Lake Michigan Charters generally stay within the Wisconsin lakeward coastal zone boundaries. Please call us with any special requests.
**In addition to a 1 day Wisconsin Lake Michigan fishing license you will need a 2-Day Great Lakes Fishing (includes Great Lake Salmon/Trout Stamp)**
