Wisconsin Charter Fishing April Trout And Salmon
We start Milwaukee charter fishing in late March for Brown trout but by the time we are in mid to late April we start catching a mixed bag of fish. As we venture out of the harbor and along the shoreline we start catching multiple species. This time of year Brown trout are still in the mix but Lake trout, Rainbow trout, Coho salmon and sometimes a Chinook salmon are all possible to be caught. Lake trout spawn in the fall and sometimes will winter along the shoreline. Rainbow trout spawn in the spring and will start to come out of the rivers. There are always some Coho salmon that winter in the area. A stray Chinook looking for bait coming in to spawn usually shows up. Brown trout are still going to be a big target but the other species start to kick in. This picture shows a limit catch of Brown trout, Lake trout, Coho salmon and a Rainbow. We caught these fish in mid April just north of the Oak Creek creek in 15 to 20 feet of water. Call Silver King Charters to try an early spring Lake Michigan charter fishing trip.
