Milwaukee charter fishing in the fall in and around the Milwaukee harbor is a great time to catch some large Chinook salmon. This is the time of year that the mature salmon come back to spawn. Depending on the how well these fish fed over there 4 year life cycle they can reach 25 pounds or bigger. The average fish is around 12 to 15 pounds. They put up a great fight and you have the back drop of Milwaukee while you are fishing. In this picture you can see the new Northwest Mutual building going up. When complete it will be the second tallest building in the city. Try charter fishing the last week of August and the first three weeks of September for this type of action.
