Milwaukee Charter Fishing August Chinook Salmon
This picture shows our boat trolling 30 foot waters north of Milwaukee off of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. My brother and I started fishing off these shores when we grew up many years ago. We lived across the street from Lake Michigan and would spend every free chance we could fishing for salmon and trout. Here we were tolling shallow water in early August because the water had become cold due to west winds. There was a lot of bait near shore and we felt this would be the time to troll the shoreline. We averaged 17 fish a trip for a week during the morning and midday trips. This area will set up a couple of times each year during the summer and timing is everything. As soon as the water starts to warm up we have to move because the fish will swim out of the shallows. Experience is \key for both safety and catching fish. When we were fishing this spot there were no other boats around us. Experience of many years of fishing Lake Michigan salmon and trout gives us the confidence to troll shallow water and catch you more fish. Call Silver King Charters and start catching your salmon and trout on Lake Michigan.
