Chris Brand with a nice Rainbow Trout

Chris is one of my top two First Mates. He spends more time on the water than on land. He and my brother, Willy, First Mate most of our Milwaukee Charter Fishing Trips. Both these guys can set a spread of rods so fast it will make your head spin.

Willy and Chris became my competition in some tournaments that we don't fish together. Let me tell you they are tough to beat! They landed a 29.97 lb. Chinook Salmon that took first place in the 1 day fishing tournament in Milwaukee, WI. There are 100 boats and over 400 fishermen in this event. They won $1000 for that fish and if they keep it up I may lose my First Mates. Both will be Milwaukee charter fishing boat captains on Lake Michigan one day.

I put an explanation point after Rainbow because some people think I get a little too excited when a Steelhead gets on the line. Well I sure like the way they fight. Charter fishing Lake Michigan Salmon is in our blood and we set out on each trip not only to catch Salmon and Trout but to catch limits. RAINBOW!

My brother Willy has his own boat slipped next to me at Mckinley Marina. He has as many years of fishing and boating experience on Lake Michigan as I do. Willy has won several tournements over the years including a boat, motor and trailor in Salmon-A-Rama. I really enjoy fishing with him and you will see the difference it makes having to skilled Salmon fishermen aboard when charter fishing in Milwaukee.
